Email notification feature allows you to receive a message every time the survey was completed. Enter your address and the address of colleagues who need to receive the messages as well.
This guide, will teach you:
1. Activate email notifications
Head to the Extra Options tab. Scroll down to Other options and click Email notifications. Now toggle the button to activate the feature.
2. Add recipients
When it's turned on, click Add email and you'll be able to type in the address. Click to add as many addresses as you need. Make sure to Save changes when you're finished.
The message you will receive will contain the respondent's information, the questionnaire questions and the answers the respondent selected.
If you want to write a custom message according to your respondent's answers then you should use email templates. You can send a message to those who for example, scored full marks on the quiz and congratulate the top respondents! Also, if you're on the Enterprise plan or ReportR plan, you can send a message based on the value of a formula.
When you use Save per question feature, every answer is saved as a partial response. If after 15 minutes the respondent has not returned to the survey to continue answering questions, the partial response will trigger the email notification.
However, it’s possible to have duplicate records when a respondent takes 15 minutes to answer a question, which is why the same response can be emailed twice.
