The Publish tab gives you three ways to do that: by email, by embedding it on your website, or by sharing a link. This guide walks you through all three. #### You'll need this: - One of these Pointerpro plans: Any plan, including a free account - These additional assets: An assessment you've already created — see *How to create your first assessment* #### On this help guide page: 1. [Share your assessment with a link](https://help.pointerpro.com/how-to-send-your-assessment-to-respondents#link) #### 1. Open the Publish tab Click **Publish** at the top of the screen. You can choose between three ways to send your assessment: **Email**, **Embed**, and **Link**. If you haven't uploaded any contacts yet, click **Import CSV** to upload them from a CSV file. Your selection is added to the **To** field, so you know where your assessment will be sent. #### 3. Write your email Next, write your message. Click the cog wheel next to Verify that your questionnaire is live and properly configured! to open the settings of your assessment, turn on **Live status**, and click **Save**. ![](https://help.pointerpro.com/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-Oct-07-2026-01-20-13-1765-PM.png?width=1646&height=899&name=undefined-Oct-07-2026-01-20-13-1765-PM.png)*Turning on the live status of your assessment.* With your contacts, subject line, and message in place, click **Send to 1 address**. Copy the code snippet with **Copy to clipboard** and add it to the body of your page. Use the cog wheel next to the code snippet to check that it's live and properly configured.   #### 6. Share your assessment with a link Click **Link** to get the link to your assessment, and click **Copy to clipboard** to copy it.
