One of the most powerful design features is the ability to use images as backgrounds to each widget. In the right example we've used a single column widget to add additional layers, giving some more flexibility. #### Visualizing widget layers In the below image we continue on that right example. We set the following configuration to visualize how the widget layers are nested.  - Report margins (Design tab): 5 mm - All margins on all widgets : 5 px Then we set different colors as the background for each of the widgets to help distinguish them.![Report V2: Image widget- add an image widget](https://s3.amazonaws.com/cdn.freshdesk.com/data/helpdesk/attachments/production/35244101182/original/U4i7-Tp4imwQCB8jgM1vhJLrcZdbx33mJg.png?1725540313)This means you can layer up to 4 images (or background colors) over each other and then put text in on top of that. You can position everything using the margins on the different widgets. #### Configuring a background on a widget With a widget selected, you can find the background settings on the right side of the screen in the settings.
