Area chart An **area chart** is a type of graph that displays quantitative data over time, using filled areas to represent different values. Stacked area chart A **stacked area chart** is similar to an area chart but shows **multiple data series** stacked on top of each other. Streamgraph A **streamgraph** is a type of stacked area chart where the data is centered around a central axis, creating a flowing, organic shape.
